Committee Name: COP Student Research Unit
Committee Charge:
1. Solicit research proposals (ideas) from faculty members for students’ research activities.
2. Review and approve faculty members’ research ideas for students.
3. Review and approve students’ research proposals.
4. Follow up the progress of students’ research proposals writing and submission.
5. Follow up on the progress of the execution of students’ research projects.
6. Evaluate the progress on research projects reports and the advisor-student meeting documentation forms.
7. Review and approve the final research progress reports of students’ research.
8. Document all students’ research activities.
9. Provide support for students and his/her mentor with regard to the design and data analysis of their research studies.
10. Organize the participation of students’ research projects in relevant conferences and symposia.
11. Encourage research projects and publications that meet the needs of the community.
