Committee Charge:

1. To define and implement the objectives, goals and structure of the COP curriculum.

2. To oversee the teaching, organization, and management of the COP educational program.

3. To review analyzed data reported by the Pharmacy Program Evaluation and Student Assessment Committee and formulate educational policies.

4. To oversee the evaluation of course content to identify areas of deficiency or redundancy in the curriculum and to correct or modify these where appropriate.

5. To recommend major changes in the curriculum or course structure, duration or order, or addition of a new required course as deemed necessary for improvement of curriculum. 

6. To assign, with the consent of the departments involved, the Faculty Staff for teaching pharmacy students.

7. To report to the Dean and COP Council unresolved problems in the teaching of the curriculum.

8. To plan continuous assessment of students and end of course examinations in coordination with the Student Assessment Committee.

9. To establish subcommittees for specific functions.

10. To consider all matters related to pharmacy education of students and accordingly make appropriate recommendations.

11. To ensure implementation of medication safety concepts across the curriculum.

1. To monitor academic progress of all students upon completion of each course, semester and year.

3. To recommend promotion of students, placing students on probation, granting or denying re-examination, placing students in remedial programs, delaying or dismissal in accordance with COP policy.

Committee Charge:

1. Develop mentorship by-laws for faculty members and students.

2. Develop relevant mentoring reports and information sheets.

3. Follow-up and discuss the mentoring process assigned to each Faculty.

4. Identify students with deficiencies, initiate mentorship intervention and follow up their progress.

5. Submit monthly reports of the mentorship process to the Student Progress and Promotion Committee.

Committee Charge:

1. Prepare print and electronic marketing materials (brochures, infographics, logos, posters, e-advertisements, etc.) to promote awareness of the COP and pharmacy as a profession. Review and update materials regularly.

2. Highlight administration, faculty, COP Scholars and COP students' achievements in social media.

3. Maintain the COP Social Networking pages (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.). Increase followers and keep the pages current.

4. Act in advisory capacity for each committee on public relations techniques.

5. Identify innovative and effective marketing, branding, outreach, recruitment, communication methods and media.

6. Organize and prepare the following activities: COP research day, National pharmacist day, Al Janadriyah event, and the International Exhibition & Conference on Higher Education.

1. Organizing College of Pharmacy events either Scientific activities or other career-related events.

2. Liaise with the Community Services Committee to facilitate conduction of the community services activities.

3. Liaise with the Faculty Enhancement Committee to facilitate conduction of faculty enhancement activities.

4. Liaise with the Student Research Unit concerning arrangement of student research presentations including printing of posters and venue to present their work.

5. Organizing itineraries for college visitors and arrangement of their visit to the college and its facilities.

6. Coordinate with Technical Affairs Department for any issues related to college maintenance.

7. Follow up on any logistic and purchasing issues regarding any events and activities run by the college.
