On behalf of Dr. Abdulkareem Al Bekairy, Dean of College of Pharmacy, KSAU-HS, we would like to congratulate Dr. Mai Abdullah Al Ajaji for her current administrative appointment as Assistant Dean, Female Branch, College Of Pharmacy-Riyadh (COP-R-F), KSAU-HS, as per KSAU-HS MN 007-2017, recommended by Prof. Youssef Al Eissa, Vice President of Educational Affairs, KSAU-HS and approved by His Excellency, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, President, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

 

Dr. Mai will be reporting directly to the Associate Dean, Female Branch, COP-R-F, KSAU-HS, effective 01 March 2017 for a two-year term. In this capacity, Dr. Al Ajaji will assist the Associate Dean, Female Branch, COP-R-F in managing all academic and administrative affairs of the female students of the COP-R-F. This appointment will be in addition to her academic responsibilities as Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, Female Branch, COP-R-F, KSAU-HS.

 

Dr. Al Ajaji is a graduate of King Saud University obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2005, In pursuit of her postgraduate study she obtained her Master of Science in Pharmacology and toxicology (2010) and her Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Toxicology (2013), both at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine, Richmond, VA, USA.

 

Dr. Al Ajaji joined the COP-R-F in July 2013 as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. In pursuit of academic excellence, she obtained a Master Degree of Medical Education from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh in January 2017. She has been teaching and participating in all academics activities at COP-R-F, KSAU-HS. Since the implementation of the College of Pharmacy Female Branch in 2015, she assumed the responsibilities as Acting Deputy Chairperson, Pharmaceutical Sciences Department.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Dr. Hind Al Modaimegh for her outstanding leadership and exceptional achievements during her tenure as the Assistant Dean, Female Branch, COP-R in October 2015 to February 2017.
