Committee Name: Community Service Committee
Committee Charge:
1. The committee develops and manages the community service initiatives of the College of Pharmacy to encourage COP members to participate and engage in community services in proper ways to meet the society needs.
2. The committee will participate in diverse community service activities throughout the year in collaboration with public and private sector partnership.
3. The committee will seek to foster an active and engaged commitment to our University (KSAU-HS) and the wider community
4. Defining community/communities within which the college could provide its services.
5. Organizing different departmental activities to avoid duplication and confusion through coordination with the institution community engagement committee.
6. Collaborating with other KSAU-HS colleges for multidisciplinary community services activities.
7. Coordinating with deanship of students affairs to support COP students’ activities that target the local community.
8. Inviting representatives of the target served community and local employers to attend the committee’s meetings for their advice and consultations.
