  • Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from University of Jordan, Jordan, 2000
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Jordan, Jordan, 1996

Research Interest:

  • Drug uses and their toxic/adverse effects
  • Cell signaling and molecular mechanism of depression
  • Mitochondrial dysfunction and cancer chemotherapy

Ongoing Projects:

  • Investigating the risk of hyperuricemia and tumor lysis syndrome associated with chemotherapy use in cancer patients
  • Exploring the perception and practices of cancer patients for using complementary therapies in cancer care
  • Assessment of healthcare practitioners’ knowledge, attitudes, and awareness toward the optimum pain management of cancer patients.
  • Exploring the risk factors associated with febrile neutropenia in taxanes (docetaxel and paclitaxel) regimens used in the treatment of metastatic and early-stage breast cancer.
