Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences 

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences is responsible for teaching theoretical and practical courses in medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, pharmaceutics, drug delivery, and pharmacokinetics which are concentrated in the early part of the professional years in the PharmD program curriculum. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences hosts two large laboratories equipped with the latest devices and instruments to design and develop various pharmaceutical forms. These laboratories are dedicated to teaching practical courses to college students, conducting various research in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, and developing various new pharmaceutical preparations. The department hosts a group of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members in various basic pharmaceutical sciences.
